Executive Assistant & Financial Analyst

The Firm is seeking an organized, meticulous and adaptable individual for the position of Executive Assistant & Financial Analyst. An individual in this position will spend their day gathering financial data from our clients, developing business valuations, corresponding with business owners, and fostering the growth of our customer base. Do not apply for this position if you are not a fast-paced, strategic individual, willing to work in a challenging, yet rewarding position.
This is an hourly position and compensation will be determined by your experience, with the opportunity of gaining a salaried position.
Requirements:
- Craft and send professional emails to business owners in volume
- Must have excellent listening, memory, and note taking skills
- Think strategically to build valuations, generate client leads, and promote our brand
- Scheduling President for 18-25 appointments/day
- Minimum typing speed of 70 words per minute
- Equal strength with math as well as with fostering customer relationships
- Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a busy atmosphere
- Must be highly proficient in computer programs including Excel and Word
- Strong knowledge and understanding of basic math principles
- Ability to write, edit, proofread, and publish written correspondence
- Decisive team player who can prioritize, manage, and complete multiple tasks
- Maintain a highly-organized and driven work ethic
- Speak persuasively and knowledgeably about your valuation, what The Firm can do for a client, and why we are the best partner for selling their business
- Promote and maintain all principles of confidentiality
- Self-assured confidence in working with individuals via telephone
- Work in tandem with the sell-side team, effectively communicating scope and timelines of your work
- No previous sales or mergers and acquisition experience is required
Position:
- With training, develop business valuations from financial documents
- Present and explain business valuations to management and to sellers
- Modify existing valuations with a keen eye for detail
- Craft email correspondence in a professional manner to other business owners
- Correspond with sellers about the progress of their listing
- Assist clients as needed including answering the telephone, conducting experience calls, or other duties as assigned
- Occasionally write, edit, and post marketing documents for our business listings
- Learn the basics of the mergers and acquisition field to foster a working knowledge of our work and our role in assisting individuals buying or purchasing a business
- Work 40-45 hours per week with starting pay dependent upon experience
Content Writer & Marketing/PR Strategist

Are you looking for a copy writing and content development position with a steady schedule, interesting subjects to write about, and a highly variable day? The Firm is seeking a creative and adaptable individual for the position of Content Writer & Marketing/PR Strategist. An individual in this position will spend their day writing about businesses we have for sale, interviewing sellers, updating files, and speaking with clients. This position requires an individual to work full time, in our office, in partnership with the marketing team. Do not apply if you are not an organized, strategic individual, willing to work in a fast paced, rewarding team environment.

- Assist clients as needed including answering the telephone, conducting experience calls, or other duties as assigned
- Learn the basics of the business brokerage field to foster a working knowledge of our work and our role in assisting individuals buying or purchasing a business
- Craft press releases, social media posts, website content, and blog posts
Research Associate/Financial Analyst

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field; or equivalent work experience (Typically six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
- Above average math skills required.
- Strong PC skills and working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Ability to type a minimum of 70 words per minute.
- Possess the ability to adapt to technology changes in the measurement industry as they occur.
- Working environment characterized by peak loads and severe time constraints.

Intern
The Firm is looking to add to our team! Intern positions are now available.
Interns will gain invaluable experience in client relations and professional interactions, the brokering process, direct and mass marketing, financing, closing transactions, and office procedures. We welcome them to sit in on team meetings and consultations with our clients, and are more than willing to engage in meaningful exchange and mentoring regarding their progress and any questions that they may have.
We have had 9 interns over the past several years, and of those interns 2 were provided the opportunity to become a full-time employee upon graduation.
The Firm’s President, Cortney Sells, is an established business women who is deeply committed to the professional and personal development of talented young women.
